Cushing's Syndrome - 100 years after Minnie G: New JNE Special Issue
We are delighted to announce the publication of a new Special Issue - Cushing’s Syndrome: one hundred years after Minnie G in Journal of Neuroendocrinology.
The issue is named after the famous patient of Cushing’s, Minnie G, and updates all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of Cushing’s Syndrome. It is published under the Journal's Clinical and Translational Neuroendocrinology (CTN) strand and edited by Robert P Millar (CTN Editor-In-Chief) and guest editors Niki Karavitaki and Darko Kastelan.
The 17 review articles in this issue are a reflection of the seventh European Neuroendocrine Associaton (ENEA) Workshop held in December 2021 and address all aspects of excess cortisol, from aetiology and pathophysiology to diagnosis and treatment, viewed from different positions and perspectives. As such, it is the most comprehensive and up-to-date review on the past and latest developments in this vexing and complex condition and promises to be the “go to” reference text.
